So, here's what's happening: TWEEK- I am just totally not working on this stuff right now. Tons of ideas. I've got an entire rock opera written in my head. Just not touching it right now. Someday though. It'll be nice.

So, i been working on the chain-gang, in the coalmine, busting my ass, busting rocks, keeping company with a bunch of dudes with accents from the darkest thickets of the Ottawa-Valley (fuckin' RIYGHT, eh?). Got some fuckin' coin to show for it, eh? That means the funds for the newest Daiquiri CD are all roooolling in! Actually, the ONLY thing that is making this CD possible is that TD Canada Trust was stupid enough to give me a credit card with a 5k limit. THANKS ASSHOLES! So, yes, the recording of the new Daiquiri joint has begun, with much fanfare, i must say. Between Mike and I, that is. We're both really happy with the results, thus far. And thus far, we've got 5 songs recorded, including vocals on most of em. I've got another session booked where i'll do the drums and keys for 5 more, plus the 3 or 4 glue tracks we've got in mind. I'm really excited, i think this CD is gonna blow the last one away. For anyone who truly gives a shit about Daiquiri music, i'm psyched for you to hear this.

The Bronze recording sessions are well underway. All the drums are done, and much of the bass, i think. I've been a little out of the loop with the boys, but i'll be working my way back in soon, laying down my angular guitar spooge.

Box Office Poison, by the band Daiquiri, is totally sold the hell out. No more copies exist. I think we are gonna re-press, which makes me more than a little DE-pressed, considering the stupid money you have to pay to get that shit done. Also, we are nearly out of Third World Budgets. And that thing will NEVER get re-pressed. So.......no one cares, so nothing.

Things are looking up for LAUDERDALE these days. We've slowly been building up on the bass and drums tracks we recorded over the summer. The songs are all pretty much done at this point. i just have to do my vocals and the keyboards have to be added. Hopefully, we can organize at least one more show. Keep watching this space right here, pigfuckers.

Me and Pat Farrell have been working on some of his music and it's coming along pretty good. I went down to broke-ass Kingston to pay him a visit a few months ago and i brought my 4-track along with me and made him play all his songs into it. A lot of his stuff is written on a 12-string guitar so it sounds super-sweet. The cool thing is that i've been adding my own stuff to it on my own so what started as one track of acoustic guitar is now guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, drums, vocals. Pretty interesting meeting of different musical worlds. Sounds kind of like Zeppelin meets Killing Joke meets the Melvins or something. The 12-string makes it sooooo cool! Frigg yeah.

Green Lung. I guess I'll record all that stuff, someday. I still like it. Haven't touched it in literally years. But, being that no one cares, it really doesn't matter either way.
